Frontier Services (Outback Links Program)

Outback Links is a relatively new program run by Frontier Services. We are now 5 years old and specialise in placing skilled volunteers in rural and remote areas - where there is no access to services and help. Often while the volunteers are assisting, or by virtue of the fact that we are the only service to provide assistance, rural famlies share their needs with us.

Full Circle Projects Inc

Full Circle Projects(FCP) is a new and innovative Intensive Case Management and support
program for people at risk in the Moreton Bay Shire Council Region of Brisbane. FCP aims to
provide sustainable improvements to peoples situations by: The use of a vehicle for direct
client engagement and support after hours and on weekends; Utilising existing partnership who provide short term and semi-
permanent accommodation; The allocation of funds to pay up to three months rent in
advance with any prospective accommodation, freeing up funds for essential items needed
for work-related or study needs; To provide emergency relief brokerage for practical support
as a part of collaborative intensive case management plans for individuals and families;
Ongoing follow up support during working hours.

Fusion - Canberra

We are a Christian not-for-profit youth and community organisation, seeking to come alongside those doing it tough in life. We have two Op shops managed by volunteers, that are a safe space for people to come and be loved as well as a chaplain in a local high school. We run the annual Sleep in Your Car event in National Homelessness week, youth mental health first aid training, as well as looking to grow partnerships in the community into the coming year. We seek to love those who are connected to the Op Shop communities- many of whom are doing it tough; as well as the students our Chaplain works with and all those whose paths we cross.

Fusion is a not-for-profit Christian Youth and Community organisation who have a deep and ongoing commitment to developing resilience in individual lives. But we also believe that young lives need a strong community around them, so we work alongside passionate people and networks from all over Australia in a variety of national and locally focused projects.

Gailes Community House

Gailes Community House provides a social setting where people are able to meet with friends and neighbours for a cuppa and a chat and to participate in one of the many social inclusive or family support programs on offer. It has become an integral part of the community and is something that is shared by all who access it.

Gailes Community House runs a number of programs for both adults, children and families. We run parenting programs throughout the year and we also run a low cost food program. Gailes Community House also provides individual support, information and referral to people in the local community.
We are eligible for DGR donations via the Australian Neighbourhood Houses and Centres Association.

Galilee School - Communities@Work

Galilee School provides a therapeutic learning environment for young people who are unable to function in a mainstream school setting. Many of our young people come from disadvantaged backgrounds with significant trauma, and require additional support with behavioural issues, learning difficulties and social and emotional wellbeing.
A number of our young people and their families are often requiring additional supports with day to day and household items that they require support with.

GMRF receives no government funding. All our research is funded by generous donors, community groups and likeminded corporations.

We want to ensure families have access to the necessary support resources and networks that will help develop a stronger family friendly culture.

The Communities for Children program supports children and their families from diverse cultural backgrounds. We aim to assist parents, carers and early childhood professionals to gain access to information, resources and training. Together... we can move forward into a culture of stronger families and stronger futures.

Garnduwa Amboorny Wirnan Aboriginal Corporation

The name ‘Garnduwa Amboorny Wirnan’ was derived from the three language groups: Kullari, Malarabah, and Wirnan. The name means ‘big mob of people getting together to do something’.

Garnduwa is a non-for-profit organisation delivering self sustainable sports and recreation for young people in remote communities across the Kimberley.

We have four regional offices in Broome, Derby, Fitzroy Crossing and Kununurra, working directly with remote communities. As we support remote community initiatives, we also rely on volunteers across the Kimberley to deliver sporting events.

There are over thirty remote communities that work within this format promote healthier lifestyles through participation in meaningful sport and recreation activities.

Gateway Care Ltd

Gateway Care is a low cost groceries outlet. We have an estimated 4000 families on our database and provide groceries to around 800 families each week. We work with other agencies such as Domestic Violence Groups (to whom we provide 160 meals a fortnight), St Vinnies, Salvation Army, Church groups etc. (to whom we provide Food Parcels). We also work with Foodbank and distribute school packs, (breakfast programs) FareShare (Free meals program) and Woolies and Coles (Food Rescue programs). Second Bite (Coles) provide us with pallets of Fruit and Vegies each week which are passed on to our members. Our members are prequalified and require a Centrelink or Healthcare Card to register or are people that fall outside of the welfare system but need assistance. Gateway has both a Food Centre and Café. The Café is open to everyone but only qualified members are able to shop. The Café provides a community hub where people can meet and make new friends and share their stories.

Gateway Family Services is a family support service supporting family's and individuals in the Blue Mountains and Penrith local government area. The service operates three main projects covering counselling & expressive therapies, family work and a emergency relief project which incorporates a food pantry, support with bills, food vouchers & referral to vulnerable members of the community.

Gateway Health focuses on the provision of primary health and welfare services to people at highest risk of poor health outcomes.

Services are delivered by over 400 staff members at sites in Wodonga, Wangaratta and Myrtleford in Victoria, and through outreach services provided across North East Victoria and Southern NSW.

Our services include medical practices, allied health, alcohol and other drug services including home based withdrawal, counselling services, family violence, men’s behaviour change, Gambler’s Help, health promotion, chronic disease management, Indigenous programs, aged care services including assessment, disability Services – registered NDIS provider, bushfire recovery, mental health programs including headspace, young parenting programs, family support, refugee health, and sexual health.

Neighbourhood Houses have special atmosphere. They are places of welcome, where anyone can come to make new friends, participate in community life and share learnings.

Neighbourhood Houses differ from one another; however they all encourage personal growth, self help and knowledge sharing. They work together in informal and formal partnerships with other community organisations, enriching the quality of life for community members.
