Gugan Gulwan Youth Aboriginal Corporation

Gugan Gulwan is an Aboriginal youth centre located in the ACT suburb of Wanniassa that provides programs and services across the ACT and surrounding region. Gugan Gulwan works within the community through a range of programs/services including case management that go well beyond the services provided by most youth centres. They include a Drug and Alcohol program, a Child, Youth and Family Support Program, Reconnect Program to support young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Gugan Gulwan gives support to parents and the family unit, focusing on skills development for young people.

Gulargambone Central School P & C

The P&C supports the school and it's students to ensure that a quality, rounded education is afforded by by all children in Gulargambone. Gulargambone Central School has 85% indigenous students and is in the bottom 1% of socioeconomically of all schools in Australia. This makes the role of the P&C at extremely important.

Gulargambone Preschool

Gulargambone Preschool is a not-for-profit community run preschool that provides education and care for children aged three to five years in and around our community. We have around 60% enrollments that identify at Indigenous and the majority of all other children are from farming families. It is a beautiful preschool that relies on state government funding to operate and a volunteer parent committee. We have been operating since 1975 and are currently in the process of building a brand new preschool thanks to funding. We provide support for parents and families and ensure children have access to services such as speech, occupational therapy, eyesight screeners and hearing screeners.

Gunawirra is a not-for-profit PBI organisation made up of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal professionals and specialists working side by side for Aboriginal young women, men and their children from the ages of 0 to 5.

Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative Ltd is an independent community based not-for-profit Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that was founded by a group of volunteers from the local Aboriginal community of the Victorian South West region in 1979. From humble beginnings to long-term vision of our community has driven the organisation as the primary provider of social, health and cultural services in our region.

Child and Family Centres sit within the Community Services Directorate (CSD) portfolio.

Child and Family Centres are a service system that aims to:
•Positively influence the developmental pathways and life trajectory of children
•Build capacity and resiliency of families to support their children

The work of the Child and Family Centres in the Gungahlin, Tuggeranong and West Belconnen communities contributes to the fulfilment of the ACT Government’s vision for all people to reach their potential, make a contribution and share the benefits of an inclusive community (Canberra Social Plan, 2011).

Gunida Gunyah provides secure affordable housing and support to tenants who need it most, as they get back on their feet.
We provide a range of programs and services designed to enhance the lives of our people, including those who are ageing, disabled, have been recently incarcerated or have suffered domestic abuse.

Gunnedah and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc

The Chamber is involved in representing the business community to local and state (and occasionally federal) governments, providing representation on a number of committees and on a variety of issues.

We facilitate many different programs and activities to help strengthen our community.

Guthrie House

Guthrie House Co-operative Incorporated is a not-for-profit transitional service for women, including women with babies in their full-time care. Guthrie House is the only service of its kind that supports women who have a history of alcohol and other drug abuse and current involvement in the criminal justice system. This can include release from a correctional centre on a community-based sentence such as a Parole Order, Probation Order, Drug Court Order or Intensive Correction Order.

Gympie Community Place

Gympie Community Place is the local Gympie community centre or neighbourhood centre.

Everyone is welcome at Gympie Community Place....and our slogan is “Our Place – Your Space” Gympie Community Place has been providing support to the local community for over 25 years and we pride ourselves in providing the community with a wide range of supporting services, groups and activities. We run services and programs with a focus on supporting those most vulnerable in our community – those who might need a helping hand. We strongly support ‘community’ engagement and encourage everyone to get involved in our local community.

Gympie Flexible Learning Centre

Gympie Flexible Learning Centre provides a place for young people disenfranchised by mainstream education systems, to re-engage with a holistic and flexible learning experience.

Gympie Meals on Wheels

We provide meals to the elderly and infirm in the community. From January 2020 we will also be running a soup kitchen for the homeless in Gympie.

Gympie Special School

Gympie Special School is located within the township of Gympie. The school is an Education Queensland facility that provides educational programs for students from Prep through to Grade 12. We believe that the key to student success is to work with caregivers and specialist support staff to ensure that curriculum programs develop in response to children's individual needs. Our educational programs are founded on the Australian Curriculum with a wide range of support strategies and technologies embedded to maximise opportunities for student success.
