Elderly lady living in flood effected premises needing support
Elderly lady who is staying with friends while she waits for her rental home to be renovated is in need of new furniture when she returns. She has been able to replace some things but is still needing others. She has had broken hips and legs and is unable to walk or stand on hard floors for long periods of time. She is a survivor of domestic violence and is now existing on the Aged Pension. It has taken more than 12 months for the owners to renovate her residence and fix the flood damage. Her one joy left that has kept her going for the last 12 months or so is sewing and crocheting.
