Empowering Futures: Exam Pens to Break Barriers for Remote EALD Students

We are seeking four exam pens to support our EALD (English as an Additional Language or Dialect) students. Living in remote Aboriginal communities, many of our students face challenges as English is their third language after their traditional language and Kriol. The catastrophic 2023 flooding had a devastating impact on attendance, with many students missing school and falling behind in literacy and confidence.

These pens will assist with reading, test-taking, and filling out essential forms like driver’s licence applications. They will be a game-changer for our kids, who will love using them to navigate their learning journey. Access to these tools will empower them to overcome barriers, build confidence, and re-engage with school, transforming their education and future.
