Single mother with 3 children all with special needs experiencing financial hardship
Mother has one child that has selective mutism after being exposed to trauma in the home . Mother has recently left long term relationship with children's father who has stated that he has 50/50 custody which has resulted in mum losing more than half her payment from centrelink. This young one has been using a tablet with her therapist as a way to communicate and it is believed that if she could have one of her own to use at home and school this would be beneficial for her to begin to progress and heal.
