Blanket and pillow donations requested to handout to Homeless people in Broome at a community event
Homelessness has increased in the region since the Kimberley Floods. We are requesting donations of blankets and pillows so we can hand them out to the homeless people of Broome at a community breakfast club event.
These warm essentials will provide comfort and some security to community members who are sleeping rough, especially as it becomes cooler during the dry season months in Broome. These donations will aid in the successfulness of the event and increase community engagement with other service providers we will have at the event, including legal services, health workers and social supports.
