This young person is a flood survivor having been severely impacted by the 2022 floods and 2024 storm events
This young person 14 years has lived through 2022 major flooding and also again in 2024. Now living with severe anxiety, depression, withdrawal from everyday activities and fearful of future weather events and being displaced again having lived in a caravan for the past 16 months. There is an opportunity of linking in with local Equine therapy for 6 sessions to strengthen mental health and wellbeing, to bring a purpose and connection assisting the healing journey. She has herself identified this form of therapy as her major goal.
