Single mom on a carer's pension, significantly impacted and displaced by the October '22 flood.
This lovely resident, her family and their pets were displaced by the October flood event. They are currently living in a small caravan and in their garage, awaiting insurance to repair their home. Resident and her 67 years old mother and 14-year-old son, all are currently experiencing severe mental health concerns due to the ongoing stress, and they all are currently receiving Mental Health support. Resident and her mother are experiencing chronic health issues as well. This resident's mother has multiple health and mobility issues and requires regular contact with her GP and other health professionals.
Their local council has also raised their concerns about resident and her family’s current living conditions.
Resident is a single mother on a carer’s pension. They are on very limited funds and they would be extremely grateful for any assistance from GIVIT and it'll greatly assist this resident in their recovery.
