Young mum 16 years old has recently left residential care and is wanting to build a better life for herself and her family
16-year-old new mum, has recently left residential care to move in with her partner and his family. Significant trauma history and transient lifestyle. Wanting to provide a better life and a safe home for her little family. Has moved interstate away from other informal supports.
Concerned and struggling with gathering the basics and ensuring she has what is needed for her baby. Yet to receive payments from Centrelink for baby. Partner is 16 also and only just started receiving youth allowance.
Has been working on keeping her mental health in check and being the best she can be for her baby. Wishes to re-engage in education in 2025. Is a very driven and determined young woman.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated for this new little family.
