Family struggling with paying bills after loss of mother
This family is comprised of two young high school aged children and their step-father after the recent loss of their mother this year. All members of the family are dealing with a significant amount of grief and loss following the death of their mother and have all identified that this is greatly impacting on their mental health and wellbeing. There are active efforts being made to complete referrals for the family for mental health support. The family are facing significant financial struggles and have been unable to pay school fees for the children for quite some time. This in turn is putting more pressure on the family and impacting on the mental health of the stepfather as the amount owing on the school fees is $600 for just 2024.
This family would greatly benefit from recieving financial support to address the outstanding school fees, and would then in turn allow for the students to be able to engage with their learning more by accessing school resources.
