The young person is a 15-year-old First Nations individual who has faced substantial challenges due to significant family domestic violence from early adolescence through to the present. This tumultuous environment has led to periods of homelessness, frequent absences from school, and an overall instability that has affected the family’s financial capacity to provide support. These factors have undoubtedly posed obstacles to the young person’s potential success.
Despite these considerable adversities, the young person has demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination. They are a high achiever who regularly attends school and engages in academic pursuits with notable success. Recently, they have also been involved in work experience and various courses, reflecting a strong eagerness to secure employment and pursue a traineeship or apprenticeship.
The young person’s resilience and commitment to overcoming challenges and achieving their goals suggest a promising future.
