Grocery voucher - $200
Emergency Temporary Accommodation Project, homeless women, women being released to homelessness from prison
We are a small, unfunded organisation dedicated to providing culturally, spiritually, and physically safe spaces for women who are homeless or transitioning from prison to homelessness. The rent paid by occupants through their Centrelink payments covers only the basics—rent, water, and power—leaving little for groceries.
While we have a weekly arrangement with a local baker for bread, it doesn’t provide essentials like fruit, vegetables, meat, or pantry staples. To continue supporting these womyn, we kindly ask for help in the form of food vouchers. This support would ensure access to nutritious food and help them learn to budget, cook, and live communally, fostering a stable and supportive environment with each other.
With your help, we can keep our current house thriving and eventually expand to open another, offering even more women the chance to rebuild their lives.
Thank you for considering our request and for helping us make a difference.
