Young woman with auqired brain injury mourns loss of still born child
We are supporting an 18 year old young woman in one of our crisis accommodation properties in Kedron. She has historically been the victim of sexual violence and domestic violence which resulted in her getting an acquired brain injury and subsequently having her baby being a still born. She has made great in roads to improve her life and has commenced studying in a hospitality course. She does struggle with emotional regulation on account of her previous injuries but is learning with our support to thrive in community. We are hoping to get this young woman some cameras for her home as she does continue to have concern about safety. She has a lovely dog which keeps her company and it would be great to help her with some vouchers or similar to assist with maintaining the animal.
