A single mother, aged 51, who has overcome significant challenges. She has been a victim-survivor of domestic violence for over two decades, perpetrated by her now-excluded husband. Her mental health struggles likely stem from these traumatic experiences of family violence. Currently unemployed, she wants to improve her situation by seeking support with driving lessons. Due to chronic back pain and osteoporosis, she faces physical limitations. Despite receiving disability support pension, high rent, and medical expenses make it difficult to meet her needs. Not eligible for certain support programs, she also faces language barriers. Your assistance will provide her with essential items such as a bed, bedding, and cutlery, and help alleviate the financial strain of medications. Additionally, supporting her with driving lessons will empower her to increase her independence and access opportunities for employment and community engagement.
