Family homestead inundated with water during Western Qld flood, losing so much
Applicant's property is 86,000 acres, 70 kilometres from Windorah. It is shared with their brother and his family 2 adults and 2 children. It is also 200 kilometres from Quilpie where there are bigger shops. The homestead (main house) was filled with water, during the Western Qld flood, as were the sheds which houses the machinery and tools, etc. It will take forever to get things back to normal, and they really do not know where to start.
