Laptop Computers to Assist Vulnerable Individuals
Since 2017, Bakhtar Community Organisation has supported migrants, refugees, and newly arrived individuals from multicultural backgrounds. A key challenge we face is the lack of access to laptops and computers for our clients. Since 2021, we have distributed over 400 devices, but demand continues to exceed supply. These tools are essential for education, job seeking, accessing services, and staying connected. Without them, many face isolation and disadvantage. To continue supporting digital inclusion and equal opportunity, we urgently need laptops and computers in bulk. This will help us bridge the digital divide and empower vulnerable communities on their settlement journey
