Aboriginal woman with history of DV facing financial hardship, trying to get life back on track
Aboriginal woman with a history of domestic violence with partner. She has 5 young children, not living with her due to unfit living conditions. They are under the care of close family members and she would like to have them home with her. Partner recently released from prison and is undergoing rehabilitation for substance use and violence. The relationship is going well and she no longer feels unsafe with him, and she is working hard to get her life back on track. She has been able to purchase some basic necessities for their home but she is experiencing financial hardship and needs some assistance. She is on a disability pension and would like to study DV behaviour to understand and help her partner. Any support we can offer her would be greatly appreciated.
