CLient resides in rural remote Queensland and was flood affected during the 2021- 2022 disaster.
Family has a history of family violence with in the home . Client is single mother with additional caring responsibility of grandchild with no finanical support. Client is in financial hardship costs of whitegoods is not obtainable for client at this time. Client has had vacuum cleaner break down and is unable to afford a replacement. Client has advised they will need to delay school supply payments in order to pay for necessary household appliance at this time.
Client has limited retail opportunites in remote area with only 1 Betta Electrical Chinchilla or Bi Rite Miles able to supply product in a resonable travel distance. CLient is working with Finanical Counsellor to improve their finanical education and resilience. As the clients circumstances is extreme hardship it will take some time to improve the overall houshold finanical sitation.
