Flood affected in both 2021 and 2022 events. Flood waters entered the home damaging household and personal items. The house was deemed unlivable and the landlord declined to make any repairs or help to provide needed documents to support this families application for government grants or support. Without this evidence the family was unsuccessful obtaining any financial assistance. The family has now been evicted and has been faced with the cost of relocating. As well as purchasing some essential home items, ongoing medical expenses and the increased cost of living. The family is under extreme financial hardship.
