Help this organisation to provide continued support for community members doing it tough
This organisation runs a community pantry which provides assistance to local community members who are in financial hardship. The pantry offers support with the provision of food, toiletry and personal items, and household cleaning. They also provide nutritious and home-cooked meals each week all thanks to their dedicated Volunteers.
Over the last 6 months they have seen a significant increase in the demand for their service as well as an increase in new clients, and they are currently assisting between 30-50 clients each weekday. Any assistance from the community pantry is provided free of charge to all clients.
Whilst the demand for their service has increased, unfortunately their funding has not. They are now relying heavily on donations in order to continue providing this much-needed assistance to disadvantaged individuals and families who would otherwise go without.

Communities in South Coast NSW which copped the full brunt of the recent bushfires, and then were further impacted by COVID, have found relief through a GIVIT donation.

Breakfast programs serves up food and fun for farm kids
With the ongoing pressures of drought, some farming kids are required to assist on the family property in the morning, putting in hours of work feeding stock and doing general farm duties. They have usually done a day’s work before they even get on the school bus and start the lengthy trip to town.
