Graphic Designer & Content Creator

As a talented and passionate Graphic Designer, you will use your skills to produce high quality designs that showcase our impactful work and help shape the GIVIT brand identity. You will be our brand champion, creating designs and capturing high-impact photos and videos that tell the GIVIT story across all channels and mediums – including web, digital, social, email and print.

About the Role: 

This role offers you the opportunity to drive the creative process and be involved in campaigns and design projects from concept to implementation. As the in-house design expert you will be able to storyboard, shoot and edit videos to ensure our content supports marketing campaigns. You’ll also bring your current knowledge of new and emerging design and be the go-to person for the GIVIT content library across all media. 

To be successful in this role, you will consider yourself a graphic design specialist. You are happiest working in a fast-paced team with varied daily tasks, are highly organised, with excellent attention to detail. You are highly creative and a strong communicator (both written and verbal), excited by the chance to support the Marketing & Customer Experience team with fresh ideas to drive our impact. 

 

We’re looking for someone who is: 

  • Passionate about community impact and development. 
  • Creative who loves design and has a strong proficiency in Adobe Design Suite as well as Canva. 
  • Confident in photography, videography and post-production editing. 
  • Detail oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. 
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated experience managing projects and multiple stakeholders to deadlines.  
  • Ideally with at least 5 years in-house design experience. 
  • Tertiary qualified in Graphic Design.

Head of Engagement

As GIVIT’s Head of Engagement you will build effective long-term partnerships with federal, state and local governments as well as not-for-profits to increase GIVIT’s reputation as a leader in donation management.  

You are an experienced senior leader who has demonstrated success in inspiring others and developing and maintaining a high-performance team culture. You are passionate about supporting external organisations and communities, as well as fostering the growth and development of employees within the Engagement Function.  

  • You can work from Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra

In this role you will: 

  • Work with the GIVIT leadership team to set, review, and deliver the GIVIT strategic plan, in conjunction with the engagement functions operational plan.  
  • Manage GIVIT’s Engagement programs nationally to ensure all contractual obligations are met and GIVIT’s profile and reputation is continually raised. 
  • Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with Federal and State Governments, their agencies and networks. 
  • Identify and secure opportunities to position GIVIT as a leader in donation management. 
  • Create a positive working environment where you can develop and coach direct reports. 

 

Technical skills and experience you possess: 

  • Tertiary Degree in Disaster/Emergency Management, Business, Marketing/Communications or a related discipline.  
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in relationship management, preferably experience working within the not-for-profit sector.  
  • Competent and confident in media appearances and public speaking.  
  • Exceptional project management skills, including demonstrated capacity in planning, implementing, reviewing and achieving strategic goals and objectives.   
  • Expertise in working closely with federal, state and local governments, including a proven track record of effectively managing government contracted services and commitments.

As GIVIT’s Head of Fundraising and Partnerships you will inspire, develop and implement the fundraising and partnerships strategy to deliver on GIVIT’s future plans. You will also build and foster professional relationships with key decision makers of major funders and supporters. 

You are an experienced senior leader with a proven track record establishing sustainable income streams and revenue growth in the not-for-profit sector. You have excellent networking and interpersonal skills which inspire others and enable you to maintain a high-performance team culture. You are passionate about driving supporter acquisition, conversion and stewardship activities, and are excited to bring your experience to one of Australia’s most innovative not-for-profits.

In this role you will: 

  • Work with the GIVIT leadership team to set, review, and deliver the GIVIT strategic plan in conjunction with the fundraising and partnerships operational plan.  
  • Develop proposals for major donors, Trusts, Foundations, Private Ancillary Funds and Public Ancillary Funds (in collaboration with relevant SMEs), aligned with GIVIT’s strategic objectives, annual funding priorities, and donor funding intentions.   
  • Identify and develop opportunities for new and diversified income streams that support the development of both core operations and key projects/programs. 
  • Maintain and further build a positive working environment where you can develop and coach direct reports. 

 

Technical skills and experience you possess: 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/Communications; Public Relations; Community Services or Business.  
  • Demonstrated extensive experience in a fundraising environment preferably within the not-for-profit sector.  
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and delivering successful, broad-based fundraising strategies, plans and budgets.   
  • Demonstrated project management experience - planning, implementing, reviewing and achieving project goals and objectives within agreed resources and timeframes.   
  • Ability to analyse complex situations, apply a problem-solving approach, and exercise good judgement in decision making.  
  • Proven performance negotiating and influencing strategic partnerships, funding agreements and contracts. 
  • Experience in the use of fundraising CRMs such as Salesforce and Raiser's Edge. 
  • Competent and confident in media appearances and public speaking.
