Individual rebuilding their life after homelessness due to suicide attempt, mental health and permanent diability

We are supporting a gentleman who has experienced long-term homelessness following lifelong physical injuries that resulted in disability after a serious suicide attempt. He also lives with significant ongoing mental health challenges, which were further exacerbated by this experience. Due to the combined impact of his physical disability and mental health, he has been left unable to work and has had very limited income and supports.
After an extended period of perseverance and advocacy, he has recently been offered long-term housing. Although is a significant milestone in his recovery, stability and safety, he now faces the stress of being unable to furnish his property with the basic furniture.
While he has done his best to purchase small household items where possible, he is unable to afford the larger essential items needed, or facilitate the collection/delivery of these items.
