Regional University Study Hub for local students was impacted by recent mid coast flooding disaster

When the Manning River broke its banks, floodwaters rose above the main level of our community-led student study hub, forcing its closure and disrupting the many students (approx. 150 students) who rely on it each day. During recovery, we operated from a temporary space that could only partially meet their needs.
We have replaced damaged carpeting and completed essential structural repairs, but the hub is not yet fully functional. To reopen a safe, supportive environment, we still need to replace key items such as furniture and whitegoods lost in the flood.
