Recently settled refugee family urgently seeking electric blankets/vouchers for heaters
GIVIT
A newly arrived Afghan refugee family are struggling financially and are urgently in need of electric blankets or heaters in order to keep warm in the cold Canberra winter. This is their first winter in Canberra and they they are experiencing financial disadvantage due to the high cost of living and the costs associated with resettlement. One of the family members has asthma and the cold is significantly impacting on her health.
