This teenage single parent needs to leave their current temporary accommodation as it is overcrowded, and they face eviction threats from other occupants on a daily basis. This has created an unsafe and unstable living environment for this mother's 3-month-old child. Additionally, this young family have been the victims of multiple family and domestic violence incidents which has further strained the current living situation.
A transitional accommodation option has been offered, and requires furnishing in order for the young parent and child to be able to move in. Furnishing this home will have a lasting impact on this young mother and child as they will be able to create their own safe space.
