Seeking a reliable smartphone for a woman in her 30s who is currently participating in a Transitional Recovery Program after surviving domestic violence. Two years ago, she was provided with a second-hand iPhone 8 by police as part of initial crisis support. This phone is her only means of communication, and its poor condition is now impacting her ability to engage with essential supports. She relies heavily on her phone to stay in contact with her clinical mental health team and recovery program staff, attend telehealth appointments, receive reminders, access public transport information, locate services, and stay connected to her support networks. It is also a critical tool for managing her wellbeing, safety, and daily routine. She remains committed to her recovery and is working hard to regain stability and independence. A working phone would be a practical and powerful tool to support her in this next stage of her journey.
