Recipient story

Mature male facing major health and safety risks due to 10 years of delayed home maintenance caused by disabilities.
GIVIT
Ready to Learn
Gentleman has severe mental illness and has had major heart concerns. He experienced a major fall which implacted his ability to achieve basic home maintenance. Recent home inspection uncovered extreme health and safety risks to his life i.e. severe termite damage, mould exposure, roof and structural damage and some electrical hazards. Gentleman faces potential major health related issues or risks facing homelessness if not supported or treated. He has no family support in WA, all his family are retired and live in Queensland. He has little to no formal support/s at the moment and while there is major concerns to his physical and mental health it is crucial that he has a safe home environment to live in. Any financial support or services that could assist with some of these issues would be greatly appreciated.
