Single mum with 2 kids left domestic violence in 2023. Since then, they lived in a rental which was deemed unfit to live after Cyclone Alfred due to mould and water damage. The mould in the house affected all their belongings as well, and all the furniture and appliances had to be thrown out.
They have lived with family and friends and motels but are due to move into a new rental in 2 weeks.
