This little boy and his family are doing it really tough. His mother was too unwell to attend our mothers day breakfast and sent his 13yo sister along to support him. Mum has many medical concerns including significant heart problems which requires her to be in a motorised scooter which is currently out of action and she has no way of transport. Her medical conditions means she cannot work or provide for her family. They are under real financial strain. The little boy came to school with holes so big in his shoes that they were worn through to his socks and his socks also had holes in them too.
This family are also experiencing horrible family violence from their neighbours in which emergency services have had to intervene.
This family are really doing it tough in so many aspects right now and it would be wonderful if we could help be a shining light in their world that is quite dark at the moment.
