First Nations Support
GIVIT
27 year old Aboriginal man struggling with multiple challenges, including life expenses and being on Centrelink payments. He has completed detox and rehab but is unable to secure a job and requires support. His partner has recently been released from prison and also needs assistance. He has experienced a traumatic childhood with an abusive father, leading to a difficult life; parole services are trying to connect him with mental health support, which is taking time. He was also hit by a car, resulting in a shattered knee, making employment and mobility difficult. He is seeking support, particularly for fuel, to attend appointments and pursue job opportunities. Any assistance we can offer him would be greatly appreciated.

How it's helped before

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.

Thank you for your generous gesture & much needed support GIVIT.
