Alberta and her family have recently moved into a permanent home after many years experiencing homelessness. Alberta has a long history of being a victim of FDV, and there is a family history of drug addiction which has impacted their family's well being and safety. Now finally housed in the suburb they hoped for, the family are working hard to start a new life together and a more stable life for their kids. They have 9, 4 and 3 year old girls, and a baby boy only a few months old. They are in financial hardship and struggle to get by on their income, and have very little disposable income after essentials are paid for, most of which is now going towards expenses for their newborn.
