GIVIT is helping people impacted by flooding in New South Wales

Your support allows us to help people like Greg.

Greg's worked hard all his life. He lives in a unit on the banks of the Hastings River in Port Macquarie.

After flooding in 2021, Greg's unit flooded again last month, ruining flooring, walls, and many of Greg's possessions.

Greg managed to save his mattress, and with no family in the area, he moved back into his cold, empty unit as soon as floodwaters receded, sleeping on his mattress on the bare concrete floor with no running water or electricity.

Thanks to generous donors, we provided new carpet that was installed in Greg's home earlier this week. Check out his reaction in the video below.

Can you give to help other people like Greg who've lost everything?

Over 700 homes have been declared uninhabitable across Taree, Kempsey, Port Macquarie and other communities in New South Wales. Thousands more have been damaged. Families have returned home to find everything they own destroyed. We need your help to get those affected back on their feet.
