Your generosity helps people like Barbara

In 2021, Barbara* and her husband, lost everything when their home was flooded.

After gradually rebuilding, Barbara's husband sadly passed away due to cancer.

In last month's floods, Barbara was impacted again, losing most of her possessions including her car.

Thanks to generous donors, we provided whitegoods, appliances and furniture to help Barbara get back into her home.

"I've noticed she's smiling again and there is hope" says Jenny from Global Care who's been supporting Barbara in her recovery.

Can you give to help other people like Barbara who've lost everything?

Over 700 homes have been declared uninhabitable across Taree, Kempsey, Port Macquarie and other communities in New South Wales. Thousands more have been damaged. Families have returned home to find everything they own destroyed. We need your help to get those affected back on their feet.
