Sleep Swaddle

Family experiencing financial hardship in need of items for 3 month old baby including sleep swaddles and bottles.

The department is currently supporting a family of 5 with a new born baby. Mum has significant mental health issues and autism, sensory sensitivity and is vision impaired. Mum is currently being assessed for her disabilities. This family are struggling financially as dad has had to give up work to be the primary carer for his partner and new baby. We are assisting the family to enrol baby in daycare 2 days a week mainly for respite for the parents, to improve their mental health and better manage the household, and the needs of their other 2 children. Baby is in need of swaddle/sleep suits and some bottles/teats for feeding at daycare. Mum is working hard at caring for and connecting with her new baby which has been extremely difficult- she is trying to maintain breastfeeding, when baby attends daycare. We will make every effort to support mum with this. Any financial assistance is much appreciated.
