The recipient of this item is seeking a queen-size bed frame/base and mattress to replace the bedding that was lost to the January '26 bushfires, so that they are able to re-establish a regular and comfortable sleep routine. A queen-size bed not only offers the comfort and space required for this recipient, but helps them to recover from the disaster as it fills a gap left by the impact. A voucher to a local furniture store that the recipient can put towards the cost of a frame and mattress would be the most ideal form of support for this request.

The January '26 bushfire disaster resulted in the total destruction of this family's property; fencing, outbuildings, and the property's dwelling were all destroyed along with all possessions, including essential items; ID and important documents; and effects of personal and sentimental value.

The family have acquired a new place of residence, and now need support to purchase essential items in order to re-establish themselves. Due to financial hardship and the significant costs to the family to recover from the disaster, they are unable to meet these costs alone and need as much support as they can get to furnish their new home and re-establish their lives after the disaster.
