In the aftermath of recent fire events, many people in our community have lost everything and are struggling to manage even the simplest daily tasks. One of the most pressing challenges is access to clean clothes. The nearest laundromat is a 30-minute drive away—an hour round trip—which is simply too far for those who have limited resources, no transport, or urgent needs. To help, we are proposing the installation of two washing machines at the Highlands Hub. This would provide a safe, accessible place for affected community members to wash their clothes without having to travel long distances.

2026 Victoria Bushfires
We are providing essential items to those impacted by the Longwood bushfires in the Highlands community. Please support our farmers to clean up their properties by providing fuel vouchers to help them run their generators, tools and safety equipment. These items will assist the impacted residents and local volunteers with this massive recovery effort. We want to keep everyone safe as they working tirelessly to clean up their properties.
