Needing support while homeless

We are supporting a client who has recently become homeless and is currently rough sleeping out of a tent. The person we are working with is working to improve their mental health, sense of safety, and find suitable housing, however due to lack of financial support have been unable to secure accommodation. They are currently seeking support and comfort items to help them manage throughout this period, until they find long term safe housing.

I am writing to personally thank 'GIVIT' for a generous 'Simply Groceries eGift card' voucher that I was gifted, with $100 worth of essential spending money for my family & I to utilise at our own discretion. I can happily report this donation has assisted the purchase of a basic, solo, wifi security camera, with the excess going toward food for my teenage daughter who is currently taken on responsibilities around our home while I recover in a rehabilitation centre. Thank you for this kind gesture, as it has helped to improve security measures around our home & support my daughter to purchase daily essential items such as groceries, basic hygiene & cleaning products.
