My client has been a VS for 20+ years. She has been taken to hospital on many occasions for her injuries. The most recent incident she was assaulted all over her body, she had major swelling to her shoulder and neck area which required a stay in hospital and a CAT scan. Thankfully everything was fine. The last time my client lodged a FVRO and was on her way to court for the hearing, the PUV has gained information of what she was doing and intercepted her. She was also in hospital following this assault. The PUV has damaged a lot of her property and household items which she has had to replace with her own money or apply for NILS Loans. The PUV has no regard for his actions. My client has again lodged a FVRO and we will be accompanying her to the court house for support and safety.
