Client is newly arrived and experiencing financial hardship, needs assistance in supporting children.
GIVIT
The client cares full time for her three children, including one child with severe autism who requires high levels of support and supervision. Due to this and her limited English, she is unable to work and has low government income support.
The client is needing education support for her two youngest children (11-year-old boy and 7-year-old girl) who are in need of bikes. Having bikes would benefit the children as it would provide a mode of transport to school, promote physical activity and independence. Children will have access to outside activity which will help their emotional and physical wellbeing, as the family is experiencing challenges and have no access to extracurricular activities and recreational fun. Assistance with bikes would ease the pressure the client feels and give assurance that her children are able to go to school and back safely while also improving their wellbeing.
