First Nations Support
GIVIT
We provide short and long-term support and services to the community in response to the devastating impacts of the floods. Our services are across Ballina LGA areas (Cabbage Tree Island, Wardell, Ballina, Alstonville, Wollongbar, Lennox Head). We are a community coordination hub to providing integrated support to community during the crisis recovery.
Priorities:
Setting up the Community Homework Centre to assist families and children in crisis Centres with: food, clothing, electronics, school resources (stationary etc) so they can get back to school and transition out of crisis response.
