Five million reasons to believe in the power of giving

Celebrating Endeavour Group's $5 million milestone

When communities across Australia face hardship, generosity shines brightest. Since 2020, Endeavour Group and its iconic brands - Dan Murphy's and BWS - have stood shoulder-to-shoulder with GIVIT to make sure help reaches those who need it most. Recently we were thrilled to celebrate an extraordinary milestone: $5 million raised to support people doing it tough!

This achievement represents thousands of moments where hope was restored - families rebuilding after loss, individuals escaping domestic violence, and communities recovering from devastating disasters. Every dollar donated through Endeavour Group’s fundraising efforts has gone directly to providing essential goods and services to people in crisis.

How it all began

The partnership between GIVIT and Endeavour Group started in 2019, initially to support drought-affected communities. When bushfires ravaged the country during the Black Summer, Endeavour Group stepped up again, helping GIVIT deliver vital items to families who had lost everything. From there, the relationship grew stronger, responding to floods, cyclones, and the ongoing challenges of domestic and family violence.

Endeavour Group’s commitment is simple yet powerful: 100% of funds raised through customer and team events go directly to people in need. This transparency builds trust and ensures every act of generosity makes a tangible difference.

“On behalf of GIVIT, our charity partners, and the thousands of Australians who’ve received help because of this partnership, thank you. Reaching $5 million in donations is an incredible milestone, but more importantly, it represents countless lives changed for the better.

Whether it’s a mother escaping domestic violence, a family rebuilding after floods, or a child continuing their education with a donated device -your generosity makes these stories possible.

To the Endeavour Group team, and every customer who rounded up at the checkout or joined a fundraising event: you’ve shown what’s possible when kindness leads the way. We are so grateful for your ongoing support and commitment to helping Australians in need.”

More than donations: stories of hope

Behind every donation is a story. Thanks to Endeavour Group’s support, GIVIT has responded to unique, life-changing requests:

  • A new canteen for Bega Devils Soccer Club, replacing a flood-damaged shipping container so the community could gather again.
  • Essential maintenance for Adelong Men’s and Hen’s Shed, a vital social hub for mental health and wellbeing.
  • A laptop for a First Nations family, ensuring their daughter could keep up with her high school studies after relocating for better opportunities.
  • Support for a transgender teen in Brisbane, providing a digital device to help them stay connected and continue learning.

These are just a few examples of how generosity translates into dignity, opportunity, and hope.

Endeavour Group's donations have made a huge impact on people across Australia.

The power of partnership

At GIVIT, we know that kindness has a ripple effect.

Every day, we connect generous Australians with real requests from people doing it tough. Some needs are big - like furniture for a family starting over after a disaster. Others are simple - like toiletries for someone who’s lost everything. But every single one matters, and every single one changes a life.

Our partnership with Endeavour Group is a powerful example of how businesses can turn compassion into action. Endeavour Group shares our belief that dignity begins with the basics - and their commitment to supporting essential items reflects that. By working together, we’re able to reach more people in crisis and provide practical help that restores hope.
